I am a visual artist, painter, writer, and performer with a deep-rooted love for the expressive power of the arts. My creative journey began with a passion for fine art__ drawing, painting, writing poetry and stories, singing, and dancing__ and continues to grow through diverse forms of artistic and social engagement.

I hold a BA and MA in Painting and have years of experience in theater, both as a student and director. My artistic background fuels all work: from writing and directing puppet plays for children with disabilities, to creating a stage production with elderly participants who have no formal literacy or memory skills. These experiences challenge me to develop new, intuitive ways of collective creation.

For the past five years, I have been facilitating visual art and creativity sessions for older adults with cognitive and physical impairments. This work has shown me how artistic expression__ especially visual storytelling, performance, and improvisation__ can become a language of connection, healing, and empowerment.

My academic research complements my creative practice. I wrote a paper analyzing a painting by Reza Abbasi from the Safavid era, which I presented at a seminar on Persian art history. Although the paper was written a few years ago, it continues to reflect my interest in Persian art history. My MA thesis explored representations of women in Sassanian and Samanid art. These studies, along with my engagement with Western philosophy, Eastern mysticism, and comparative aesthetics, inform both my visual and therapeutic approaches to art.

Alongside my community0based work, I continue to produce visual artworks centered on themes of identity, resilience, and social justice. I am currently developing a narrative animation and a podcast project that weave together psychology, storytelling, and emotional health.

My current goal is to expand my knowledge and practice in the field of art therapy through international study and collaboration. I see art therapy not only as a profession but also as an extension of my lifelong devotion to art as a source of healing, truth, and transformation.
